CC's opinion:
People always say that love is one of the most important things in life and it is, and that's what this movie represents.
This movie is based on one of the books of Jodi Picoult. The story was great and of course touching.
"My Sister's Keeper": the title says everything for itself. It's a very good film and prepare yourself to cry at the end.
ST's opinion:
Well, I just loved the movie! It was a really intense and touching story as CC wrote. Unlike some movies I've seen, the end wasn't obvious at all. Actually it was unexpected, and that must be the reason why it kept my eyes focused only on the film during those two hours.
A good drama is the one that makes you cry. This one will surely do it. And probably you won't cry only at the end but also in the middle. I did.
I guess the film wasn't based on a real life story, but it looked so real, so genuine, so true, that if you have told me, I would belive you.
Besides the amazing movies, there is a whole crew of amazing actors.
Cameron (Diaz) made a great performance. I guess she dressed the body of this suffered mother in the best way she could, actually the best way possible, and it was her best performance so far, in my book. She is an experienced actress and she gave every inch of that experience into this master piece.
Not so experienced but also a great actress is Abigail (Breslin), the little girl from the movie. I think this was a performance of a lifetime for her. Such a revelation!
It showed love, caring, strengh and faith. Congratulations on the movie, guys!
